Frequently asked questions

Do I need a visa to visit Tanzania?

Most nationalities can obtain a single-entry visitor visa on arrival for USD 50 (USD 100 for US passport holders), or apply online in advance at the immigration e-visa portal. Your passport must be valid for six months beyond arrival.

When is the best time to visit Tanzania?

June to October is the dry season, best for general game viewing and Mara river crossings. January to March is warm and dry with the wildebeest calving in the south and the clearest Kilimanjaro summits. April and May are the green low season — cheapest and quietest, with some rain.

How much does a Tanzania safari cost?

Budget camping safaris start around USD 220 per person per day. Mid-range lodge safaris run roughly USD 320 – 450, and luxury tented camps USD 600 and up. Park fees alone are USD 70 – 250 per person per day, which is why cheap quotes usually mean cut corners.

Is Tanzania safe for tourists?

Yes. Tanzania is one of the most politically stable countries in the region and tourism areas are well policed. Normal city precautions apply in Arusha, Moshi and Dar es Salaam, and inside the parks you are always with a licensed guide.

How many people share a safari vehicle?

All our safaris are private departures. Your Land Cruiser carries only your own party, with a maximum of seven and a guaranteed window seat for everyone.

What is included in your quoted prices?

Park and conservation fees, private 4x4 and driver-guide, accommodation, meals as listed, drinking water and all airport transfers. International flights, visas, insurance, drinks and tips are extra — every quote spells this out line by line.

Can you book internal flights and Zanzibar extensions?

Yes. We handle scheduled bush flights between Arusha, the Serengeti, Zanzibar and the southern parks, plus beach resorts, transfers and island tours as part of one itinerary and one invoice.

How do I get my itinerary tailored?

Send us your dates, number of travellers, interests and rough budget. We reply within 24 hours with a draft day-by-day itinerary and pricing, then revise it as many times as you need before any payment.
