Who we are

About Us

A Tanzanian-owned tour operator based in Arusha, built on local knowledge, fair employment and travel that gives back.

Our story

I African Wild Adventure was founded in Arusha — the gateway city to the Northern Circuit — by guides who spent years working these parks and mountains before running their own trips. That background shapes everything: we know which gate to enter at dawn, which camp actually looks after its staff, and when the migration is likely to cross.

We operate safaris, Kilimanjaro and Meru treks, Indian Ocean beach stays and day trips, and we combine them into single seamless itineraries so you deal with one team from arrival to departure.
