About Nyerere National Park (Selous)
Formerly the northern sector of the Selous Game Reserve, Nyerere National Park offers the widest range of safari activities in Tanzania — vehicle, boat and foot. The Rufiji is the largest river in East Africa and its ox-bow lakes create year-round wildlife theatre. Ideal as a 3-night add-on before flying to Zanzibar.
